Experienced Accountant

TAK-Outsourcing is an established UK outsourcing business with offices in London and Krakow. Simmons Gainsford LLP is a leading UK accountancy firm with offices in central London. TAK and Simmons Gainsford have formed a joint venture to provide outsourced accountancy services from our Krakow office.

We are looking for an experienced accountant / bookkeeper in Krakow to help build and lead the new team of Krakow-based accountants.



  • Undertake bookkeeping for a variety of clients as allocated inputting data and processing payments as required
  • Maintain the sales, purchase and general ledgers for a variety of clients
  • Posting month end journals
  • Adhere to proper accounting standards
  • Meet deadlines and time budgets
  • Complete VAT returns for allocated clients
  • Ensure appropriate treatment of items such as bonus, overtime payment etc
  • Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner
  • Prepare management accounts from information and documentation received from clients, ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met
  • Liaise with the Head of Service in London
  • Ensure a high level of service to meet clients expectations
  • Ensure that all hours worked on assignments are correctly recorded
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of additional members of staff
  • Manage new staff members
  • Attendance at quarterly review meetings in the London office



  • Fluent English is essential and experience of working in the UK would be beneficial
  • Previous bookkeeping/accountancy experience and the ability to undertake both simple and more complex bookkeeping tasks
  • The ability to understand documents and data and write clear letters and emails
  • Organised and methodical
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Ability to develop and manage a team
  • Experience with accounting systems
  • The successful candidate will be required to spend an initial two week induction period in Simmons Gainsford’s UK office
  • ACCA qualification is desirable
